One Year Anniversary
~Our Vows~
Bethany, I promise to encourage your compassion, because that is what makes you unique and wonderful. I promise to nurture your dreams, because through them your soul shines. I promise to help shoulder our challenges, there is nothing we cannot face if we stand together. I promise to be your partner in all things, not possessing you, but working with you as a part of the whole. Lastly, I promise to you my love and trust. This is my sacred vow to you, my equal in all things.
John, I promise to encourage your kindness, because that is what makes you unique and wonderful. I promise to nurture your dreams, because through them your soul shines. I promise to help shoulder our challenges, because through them we'll emerge stronger. I promise to be your partner in all things, not possessing you, but working with you as a part of the whole. I promise to share with you the joys of life, because with you they will be that much sweeter. Lastly, I promise to you my love and trust. This is my sacred vow to you, my equal in all things.

Baby's Room
John and my Dad worked hard on Saturday to get the baby's room painted. In these pictures it looks a little more blue then in real life - the paint is called Underwater Green. I think it turned out great, and I'm so excited to get everything in there, and get it decorated. We can't wait for the baby!! (p.s. I think it's a boy - but we'll see)

Lola
Poor Lola got 10 teeth extracted two weeks ago. Some people have asked why 10 teeth? Lola came from Kansas, and we don't really know her history. She clearly has had several litters, and she has scars on her back legs. She wasn't treated very kind, that's what we know. I don't really think I could deal with the details, so I'm just glad she has a warm place to live and people to scratch her belly. Anyway, her teeth were terrible, and her breath was appalling - so we took her in for a teeth cleaning, which was worse then anyone expected. So 10 teeth gone, and she's a new lady, with minty fresh breath. She's better now, and she can still eat solid foods, but she does look a little back country-ish :)
