Indiana Wedding

Lunch with Brooke

Daniel and Kristin reading their vows

Lovely ladies after the wedding
I wrote a poem for Kristin, and this is me reading it
We spent this past weekend in Goshen, IN for my friend Kristin's wedding. It was fun. We also got to spend time with Brooke. Here are some pictures from our time.

Baby Pool

I started this pool. I don't know what the prize will be yet, but we'll come up with something. So go on the site and post your guesses.

Doggies

It's no real secret that we love our doggies. Some question how that will change or be after Baby Simpson comes, but only time will tell. They are the sweetest little dogs, and we love having them around. There is just nothing like coming home to three little creatures who are SO excited to see you. (Ginger mostly just wants to see John, but that's ok). Lola and Mya just love to cuddle and be close to you, and I love it. With my ever expanding belly it's getting more difficult to have lap dogs, but they try to find space there. Sadie stayed at our house while my parents were in Indiana - she is the most unique creature I have ever met, and that isn't always a good thing. She's just old, and an only doggie who has no time for little energetic dogs jumping around eating her food.

Fishing

John went fishing at Red Feather Lakes today (I went to watch). He caught a rainbow trout . It was a great day - it was overcast and cool, which was perfect for sitting and watching. We had a really great and busy weekend.

4th of July

We went to another Rockie's game, basically for the fireworks. There were SO many people there. The game was great, the Rockies came back from behind - the final score was 18-17 with 21 hits for the Rockies and 22 for the Marlins. There were several home runs, including a Grand Slam, which is always cool to see.

After the Rockies won I high-fived the guy with the orange hat. I thought that was funny - he must not know that I'm an Indians fan.

The fireworks were amazing. We had great seats to watch.

John caught this shirt that was thrown into the crowd. This is the second shirt in as many Fridays that John has caught for free!

Here are some pictures from our lazy day at home on the 4th. I had to slip some in of the doggies, it's been awhile.

Greeley Stampede

What's more American then a rodeo. Here is the mutton bustin' (where little kids hang on to sheep for dear life)

John bought deep fried Oreos, and loved them.

the cowboys and their people

A little patriotic show

John eating another deep fried delicacy, funnel cake (we split it).

We went to the Greeley Stampede for our 2nd year. We had better seats this year. It was very fun and entertaining. We bought a new video camera and these are the pictures, so they aren't as good quality, but you get the idea.
