Cuddle bugs

I don't have anything really great to update, but I did download these cute pictures from our camera. I think they are so sweet. We can't get Ginger to sit long enough to get a picture, and she won't cuddle with anyone but John!

For my MOTHER

Story - I have been known to be a little bit messy. I know, shocking. I like to dig through piles of clothes on the floor. Another thing I have been known to do is horde water glasses. Right now I have three sitting beside me. Thankfully I only drink water. So now I live in a big girl house, with another person. I don't have my own bedroom anymore, which I'm very happy about, except that my sweet husband isn't so thrilled about clothes being all over the floor. So I have this amazing closet. I pretended like it was my own bedroom, and you couldn't really see the floor. No one was supposed to open the door to the closet. John has Man by-laws when it comes to his bathroom, and I have woMAN by-laws for the closet. Unfortunately my Mom isn't one to follow rules, and alas, she opened the door to the closet and I heard her say, "It looks like her bedroom!" So yesterday I did what I haven't done since we moved in - I cleaned my closet.

Adeline and a new Simpson adventure

In this last picture, you can see why John calls me Moonface.
John and I got a gift card to Barnes & Noble for our reception, and we decided to go this past Sunday. We picked up the book Veganomicon to try and start eating healthy. So yesterday I went to the Vitamin Cottage and got some vegan foods. I got Tempeh which is some weird soy thing that replaces meat. Except that it doesn't. For me it wasn't the taste, it was the texture. I finally understand why my Dad can't eat bananas. I marinated this stuff in some concoction, which included wine, which usually makes things better - but not in the case of Tempeh. So I don't know how long our Vegan diet will last. I bought tofu, and I can do tofu - that texture is ok. It's the soy bean texture thing that really throws me off. I also made sweet potato fries, which I loved - don't tell John but I ate like half of them while I was boiling and then roasting the Barf-eh aka Tempeh.
